Why did you get involved with College Mentors for Kids? “I got involved with College Mentors because I am obsessed with kids, and I knew I needed a way to still be surrounded by kids while at college. The second I heard about College Mentors for Kids freshman year, I signed up and it has been one of the best decisions I have made here at Valpo!”

What impact has College Mentors for Kids had on your life? “College Mentors has brought me so much happiness these past four years. What would you tell someone about College Mentors if they had never heard of the program before? “I would tell them that College Mentors is an amazing opportunity to see the world through the eyes of a child. Not only is it just really fun and cool, but it gives you a chance to build a strong relationship with a kid, and mentor them any way they need you. Plus, it’s such an easy way to volunteer and take a break from school for a couple of hours each week!”
