Chapter: Valparaiso University

The Valparaiso Chapter of College Mentors was founded in 2008 and is located in Valparaiso,IN. The Valparaiso Chapter partners with the Reiner Community Center and serves 30 children with 30 college student mentors with nine chapter leaders. Activities are held on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30 during the academic year.

Valparaiso is the first College Mentors chapter to form a partnership with a community center.

"You learn about a lot of stuff. You can learn about a whole bunch of stuff in science. You live with a roommate, but not your parents. People go to college to learn, and be what they want to be when they grow up," said one Little Buddy when asked to define college.

The chapter is no longer accepting applications for Fall 2008.  Please check back later.
