Activity Structure

Activities, for first – through fourth- grades, span two hours throughout the academic year and occur once a week after school on the college campus. The little buddies come to campus approximately 20 times per year, making 80 or more visits to a college campus by the time they finish the fourth grade.

For fifth – through eighth-grades, activities span two hours, once a week after school at the middle school during the academic year. There are approximately 20 activities per year.  Activities will focus on personal, academic and career development. Each college student mentor will be matched with five students, and activities will occur in a group.  Activities may include a guest speaker or various field trips exposing them to higher education and career options.
